What are your payment terms

For new customers, other than New Zealand and Australia, we require an irrevocable letter of credit to be established on placement of order. Negotiated terms of payment are available after regular business has been established.

For Australian customers payment is expected 35 days from the stamped, on board bill of lading date.
|
|
|

For New Zealand customers payment is expected on the 20th of the month following supply.

What Volume can be expected in Container Loadings
|
|
A 20 foot container of random length material will average 17 - 18m3 and a 40 foot container will average 36 - 38m3. Subject to size and length specification.

What is your Packaging Specification
|
|
Standard pack sizes for sawn material are 800mm wide x 800mm high x 5.4m long. The length of each pack is increased to suit container loadings to a maximum length of 6.0m. A minimum of 4 steel bands per pack are used and each pack is individually shrink wrapped for protection.

What is your normal lead time for export shipping
|

Allow 4 - 6 weeks after placing order for the despatch of material from New Zealand.

What moisture content do you dry to
|
|
An average moisture content of 10 - 12% is targeted. Approximately 200 sample checks are taken over each kiln charge.

How do I get to Tuatapere
|
|
The nearest airport to Tuatapere is Invercargill and it is one hours drive from there to our operation. Alternatively you can fly to Queenstown which is two and a half hours drive to Tuatapere. We have provided a map of New Zealand on our Contact Page which shows these locations

Yes, Major Radiata sawmills - Craigpine Timber, Niagara Sawmill and Brightwood are all within one hour of Tuatapere.
