Maori Battalion Museum Waitangi

The museum recognises Maori commitment to the armed forces, from the signing of the Treaty to the present day and also links the very strong cultural and heritage values that Maori hold with their indigenous forest lands by utilising sustainably managed FSC certified Southland Maple Beech timber in the stunning interior design of the museum.
